"Make Me Feel Too Much" witnesses Justin reflecting on occasions in life when anxiety or discomfort creeps in amidst difficult and momentous circumstances.

Yet rather than allowing the fear that is so often felt during these intense moments to consume him, Justin instead advocates diving headfirst in an exploration that places him right alongside his most unwanted emotional responses which works to unlock deep within himself meaning and moments that he never knew he was capable of uncovering.

A tentatively brooding and modern musical accompaniment centred around a hypnotic bassline and an echoey guitar part influenced by diverse range of acts such as Frank Sinatra and Aphex Twin, flits sporadically throughout the song and strengthens the unnerving qualities of Justin's lyrical content.
